About Hoot Welfare Society

Hoot Welfare Society is a Non-Governmental Organisation dedicated to nurturing students for a better world. It aspires to facilitate students to harness their knowledge and intelligence in a smart way for the welfare of the society working in the field of nourishment. Seeking student’s nourishment is its main focus and students themselves do charity in a good & smart way with their knowledge and intelligence. Currently, Hoot Welfare Society is working in five domains-

  1. Smriti (Social Nourishment)

  2. Jeev Sharan Grah (Animal Nourishment)

  3. Heal (Medical Nourishment)

  4. Swaraj (Student Nourishment)

  5. Law Bloom (Legal Nourishment)


About the Opportunity

Law Bloom of Hoot Welfare Society invites applications from the student body across India to take advantage of this learning opportunity by joining the Editorial Board for its blog to maintain the editorial direction of the blog and to ensure engaging, thought-provoking, original and contemporary publications.

Eligibility

Students in 3 year or 5 year integrated law degree courses enrolled in any BCI approved college/institution.

Roles and Responsibilities

Reviewing & editing articles as and when required.


Application Procedure

Interested students can submit their applications by sending an email mentioning subject – “Application for Student Editor” to law.bloom@hoot.org.in with a mail body, attaching an updated CV and a recently written article (published or unpublished).

Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an interview and will be asked to edit a sample piece within a deadline based on which the final results will be declared.


Application Deadlines

Applications must reach latest by 31st January, 2021 – 11:59 PM.

Perks

After successfully serving as the Student Editor for a specified time, the student shall be awarded a Certificate of Acknowledgement/Appreciation signed by a designated professional within the Advisory and Editorial Board of the organisation.

The candidate will be provided both non-monetary & monetary perks based on performance from time to time and shall also be given free access to webinars, workshops and the opportunity to be in the organising team for various national & international events conducted by the NGO.
