IHRPC [UP] Distributes Educational Resources to Girl Students celebrating National Girl Child Day

National Girl Child Day in India is celebrated on January 24 every year. The day was an initiative of the Ministry of Women and Child Development in 2008. The objective behind celebrating the National Girl Child Day is to provide support and opportunities to the girls of India. It also aims towards promoting awareness about the rights of the girl child and to increase awareness on the importance of girl education, and their health and nutrition.


On the occasion of National Girl Child Day in Lucknow the capital city of Uttar Pradesh Mr. Gaurav Badosia, President of Justice for Rights Foundation [UP] and the vice chairman of IHRPC [UP] distributed educational materials to girl students in order to empower them to get educated and even aspire for higher education. He in his address also assured the families of the beneficiaries that he shall always be with them and provide them assistance.
