Paralympian shooter Naresh Kumar moves SC against Delhi HC order which had held against him

Five time Paralympian Naresh Kumar Sharma has challenged the order of Hon’ble Chief Justice of Delhi High court through his Advocates Amit Kumar Sharma and Satyam Singh Rajput against his arbitrarily non-selection in Tokyo Paralympic Games 2020 by the Paralympic.

The petitioner had challenged the impugned order dated 27.07.2021 of the single judge of Delhi High Court wherein the Learned Single judge had noted in the order that the Paralympic Committee of India (PCI) acted in violation of its own criteria for selection of Paralympic Shooting Team for 2020 Tokyo Paralympics and also directed Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports to examine biasness and illegally in the selection process but did not allow the legitimate prayer of the petitioner to allow him to participate in the Tokyo Paralympics in R7 event.

The Division Bench of Hon’ble Delhi High issued notice to the Respondents but did not allow humble and benign prayer for the short date of hearing.
