About the University
The ICFAI University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand (hereinafter referred to as the University) was established under the ICFAI University Act 2003 (Act No.16 of 2003) passed by the Uttaranchal Legislative Assembly and assented to by the Governor on July 08, 2003. About ICFAI Law School, Dehradun
ICFAI Law School (formerly known as Faculty of Law), a constituent of the ICFAI University, Dehradun is established with the objective of developing a new generation of legal professionals through the comprehensive and contemporary body of knowledge integrating law with Management/Humanities. About the Center For Human Rights and Humanitarian Law
The ICFAI Law School, The ICFAI University Dehradun has established the Center for Human Rights and Humanitarian Law in the year 2020, which would focus on providing students, academicians and wider community with a locus of intellectual and physical resources for engaging critically with how law impacts upon some of the compelling social problems of our modern era. The center aims to provide legal assistance to the vulnerable groups who has been legally, socially or economically exploited and discriminated in different ways. It also aims to train the law students and the community at large about the existing challenges of the pluralistic society and the rising conflicts and tensions in the name of pluralistic loyalties to caste, religion, region and culture.
About the Competition
The Center for Human Rights and Humanitarian Law, The ICFAI Law School, The ICFAI University, Dehradun is organizing .The National Online Human Rights Quiz Competition on “Emerging Issues of Human Rights” on 10TH December, 2020.
In a scenario where there is a tie between two or more students, the time taken by the respective candidates will be considered.

Total Marks - 60 marks
Negative Marking - 0.3marks

Theme of the Quiz
The quiz shall be based on New and Emerging Human Rights Issues and legal framework for the same.
Students pursuing their Under graduation or Post graduation in Law.
Rules and regulations
The quiz will comprise of 60 Multiple Choice Questions to be attempted in 50 minutes and in one go.
Every question will carry 01 mark & there will be a negative marking of 0.3 marks.
The quiz will be based on the Human Rights Law.
The quiz is open to all law students.
Participation as a team is not allowed.
Participants shall ensure decent internet connectivity and are advised to be online at least 30 minutes before the quiz begins.
Certificate of Participation will be given to all participants.
All certificates shall be in digital form and will be sent on the e-mail id provided in the google form.
The decision of the Organizers shall be final and binding in relation to any matter connected with the competition.
Participants are advised to check their mailboxes regularly for updates.
