ABOUT THE UNIVERSITY
CUSB was established under the Central Universities Act, 2009, with the motto, ‘Collective Reasoning’. ABOUT THE EVENT
The Legal Aid Clinic in association with Literary and Debating Society, School of Law and Governance, Central University of South Bihar is delighted to officially invite you to the “1 ST CUSB NATIONAL ONLINE CONFERENCE ON WOMEN EMPOWERMENT AND ROLE OF LEGAL SERVICES AUTHORITY” which is scheduled for 7th & 8th March 2021 on the occasion of International Women’s Day which is celebrated on 8th March every year around the world. It is a focal point in the movement for women's rights. The two-day conference is specially designed to discuss and deliberate on various interdisciplinary areas and core issues pertaining to the theme and suggest the way forward. The conference will showcase the importance of Women empowerment in accordance with the role of the Legal Services Authority in India. The committee aims to mould well informed and aware citizens of the country on women rights and provide room of discourse, dissent, and discussion in the student community. The Student Body at CUSB is an integral part of law school which develops and enhances the communication skills, and reasoning ability among the students.
ABOUT LEGAL AID CLINIC
The Legal Aid Clinic is the most important student body in a law school with an attitude to impart the students a stellar experience by providing them with practical experience that goes hand in hand with academics. The Legal Aid Clinic at the Central University of South Bihar under the astute guidance of Faculty Coordinator Dr. Deo Narayan Singh, Assistant Professor, SLG, CUSB is in its 8th year of continuous functioning since its inception. The Legal Aid Clinic has organized prison visits and has conducted various social awareness programs in nearby schools and villages. Quiz competitions were also organized to raise awareness about the importance of legal services among budding lawyers.
CONCEPT NOTE
Under the banner of Legal Aid Clinic, CUSB, a National Online Conference On Women Empowerment and Role of Legal Services Authority on the occasion of International Women’s Day, a two day event is set to be organized on 7th and 8th of March, 2021. This event is set to invite some of the renowned legal luminaries who will be educating the mass about the role of Women in Legal Services Authority. As women are the most vital part of any society, they should have a significant representation in the legal field as well. That being said, the role of women helps us attain a binocular view on matters that a man’s eye cannot view. The event is also set to invite papers from professionals, legal scholars and students who shall shed light on the dark and harsh realities faced by women in their day-to-day lives. These papers can also be published in the leading publication houses under the banner of Legal Aid.

Note: Similar Contemporary issues and challenges can be accepted by the Organizing Committee.
ABSTRACT
The abstract must be developed on A4-sheet in Word Document Format typed in Times New Roman in 12 font size with 1.5 line spacing is not more than 300 words.
The abstract should contain personal details of the author(s) in the order:
1. Title of the paper
2. Name
3. Designation
4. Institute/University/ College/Organization
5. Contact number
6. E-mail and address(es) of the author(s).
Kindly indicate the name of the main author for correspondence in case of more than one author.
ABSTRACT SUBMISSION
Abstracts are invited for the conference from faculty members, researchers, doctoral scholars and students across the country. All submissions (abstract/paper) must be made to: legalaidclinic@cusb.ac.in Note: If due to paucity of time presentation could not happen then on the basis of Abstract, Paper shall be deemed to be presented.
